The Body Shop, better known in the shop as the '"dirty side", is where your project will start. The crucial work that is done here is the foundation of your restoration or paint job, and there is no room for shortcuts. Our process is tedious but required for the show-winning results you desire. We begin by stripping the body completely to bare metal, and any rust damage is cut out and replaced with new metal. The body is then treated with rust kill/metal prep, and the first coat of epoxy primer is applied. At that point we test fit and square up all sheet metal and adjust body gaps. Then, the vehicle is disassembled to complete block sanding and body work. The second coat of epoxy primer is applied and (if needed) more block sanding and light body work is done. Finally, the vehicle gets a Scotchbright rubdown and is thoroughly cleaned...Off to the paint booth!
